Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be diagnosing and treating dental conditions, as well as educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs
- Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience working as a Dentist
- Proficiency in medical coding and documentation
- Familiarity with dental office software (e.g., Eaglesoft)
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for restorative dentistry is a plus
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Excellent infection control practices
- Experience with medical imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Ability to assess patient vital signs and provide appropriate care
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
